Creating your own website is actually easy even if you’re the world’s biggest technophobe. The steps you need to implement in order to create a simple website with a nice design are not difficult at all. Of course, the flashier websites require more skill to create, but there’s nothing too hard to learn with a bit of study and practice.
But for basic, easy web site design, here are some easy steps that you can follow:
1.) Before going to the technical part of the design process, identify your site’s main topic. Knowing exactly what your site is all about helps you determine the direction that you need to take towards an appropriate design.
2.) To determine the features your site will have, determine what your target market will most likely need from your site. For example, if you’re selling products, you may need to set up a payment gateway and a shopping cart option.
3.) Now that you have your topic and your proposed features, you can look around and search for sample templates or existing websites from which to get inspiration. Using the sample scenario from step 2, you may get design ideas from sites such as Amazon.com and eBay.com. Firefox also has a plugin that allows you to analyze another website’s design and template.
4.) If you’re not comfortable with starting from scratch, you can always download free web design applications that provide ready-made templates. You don’t need to write confusing html code to design your website because everything is just click and drag. If you want to have access to more features, you can purchase website design tools for reasonable prices.
5.) Once you’ve found the website design application that will allow you to create your site, let your imagination go! Try out different layouts and designs until you find one that you particularly like.
6.) When you have the design you want and you already have the content to put on the website, it’s time to publish your site. Don’t worry–website design applications usually have a one-click website publishing feature. But if it doesn’t, you can just download a free ftp application in order to transfer and publish your web pages online.
If you’ve been shopping around for a web designer, chances are you’ve seen designers that charge by the hour, as well as companies that offer different levels of design packages. Because every web design firm offers different features, how do you know which one to choose?
That’s where this article can help. Depending on your needs, your budget and your timeframe, you may be able to make a confident, informed decision by the end of this article. Let’s get started!
Charging By the Hour – Many designers charge you a set fee per hour. This varies widely depending on the person’s experience, skills and the country they live in. However, keep in mind that cheaper is not always better.
Hourly rates are best for projects where you know you’ll be expanding in the future, and you don’t want to lock yourself in with design features and programs that may not apply to you. The downside is that you don’t want to be hit with a large bill with lots of questionable charges at the end of the job.
Solution: Work out a payment plan with your designer ahead of time. The best designers will give you a quote, a general timeline for completion and an hourly rate for work over and beyond what’s on the estimate.
Going with a Package Deal – Packages can be real lifesavers when you’re low on time and just want “something” online to show your potential buyers. For a set price, you can get anything from a basic site with a shopping cart to ongoing support and training.
The downside to packages is that you’re “locked in” to whatever stipulations the package has on it. So if you need more support, more pages or new products added – be prepared to pay what could amount to a hefty fee for it – or be forced to upgrade your package to the next highest level.
Solution: See if your designer is willing to customize a package that incorporates what you need for a reasonable rate. If not, ask up front what additional charges there are for things like new pages, new products and so on.
Most designers are willing to work with you, not against you, so oftentimes they can create a solution that is tailored to your needs and budget. Shop around, compare portfolios and don’t be afraid to ask questions. We’re here to help!

It stood at the summit of piston-engine fighter technology and development, and it was a formidable weapon from the closing months of WW II through the Korean Conflict (1951-53). Though the first F4U-4s only reached front-line units in early 1944, they compiled an impressive combat record against Japanese air, land, and sea forces. In Korea, the Corsair was outclassed as a fighter (though it shot down at least one Chinese MiG-15 jet fighter), and it was used mostly as a ground-attack fighter/bomber. Its speed and ruggedness, and its huge bomb load capacity (rivaled only by late-model P-47s) made it very effective in the ground-attack role. As successful as the Corsair became, its beginnings were unpromising. In 1938 the US Navy called for designs for a new single-seat, carrier-based fighter. The Chance-Vought Corporation …
You’re creating a workshop, tele-seminar, or home study offering as part of your sales cycle. Engaging your audience is one of the most important things you will do in your course. They will have a positive experience with your offering, and they will be more likely to remain in your sales cycle and sign up for other offerings.
True engagement means your audience remains energetic, focused, and immersed in the content.
How do you know if your audience is truly engaged with the content and your chosen delivery method?
Engagement can be judged in varying degrees and depends largely on your delivery media. It’s easiest to spot in a workshop with verbal and non-verbal cues. The tele-seminar format becomes a little more challenging, but it can be judged by the level of conversation and questioning. Webinars, e-learning, and home study are by far the most challenging because the learner’s interaction is with the computer or study materials.
Below are some examples of engagement elements.
Provocative questions or statements are great ways to create a fast start to your course. Your audience will make up their mind about you and your offering within the first few minutes. That impression tends to remain throughout their experience. Do you pique the audience’s curiosity with your introduction and throughout the course?
Physical movement, demos, polling, and chatting stimulate the senses. The chances of staying engaged increase substantially when using several senses in a learning experience. Your approach will largely depend on your medium. In live courses, use a blend of activities, physical movement, videos, and discussion. In the virtual classroom, give mouse control to a learner, use polls, ask questions, and allow for chatting. With elearning, combine video, audio, user demos, and thoughtful interactions.
Storytelling creates meaning and help us better retain information. Review your content and select some places where a story might better convey your points.
The changeup is critical. No matter how engaging the material or instructor, it’s human nature for people to tune out after ten minutes. Solve this by restructuring your content to include a change every ten minutes.
Use just a few of these elements in your next offering and watch your audience’s engagement level soar!

High Intensity Interval Training is one of the keys to assisting females in achieving the ultimate in fat loss. Subsequent to a suitable diet high intensity interval training would rank tops in assisting in generating enough of a calorie deficiency to help lead to the entire body to use excess fat for fuel resulting in weight reduction. Quite a few believe that it is prolonged periods of cardiovascular exercise that are doing is the key to extra fat loss but it is substantial intensity interval training that proves most effective.
What are Intervals
Intervals are one of the most results generating workout that I’ve ever discovered for increasing your metabolism, helping you lose weight off every part of your entire body, and giving you a lean, toned Hollywood look. An interval is a short period of exercise performed at a given intensity for any specific length of time. Each interval is separated from the subsequent interval by a short rests or lighter activity. No one actually knows exactly how long or for how intense the interval needs to be, however, changing the interval design by length or intensity changes the way you the human body reacts to exercise.
Get the Appropriate Rest In Between Each Interval
Never sacrifice the importance of getting the proper rest between intervals since this will only decrease the advantages. To succeed with intervals training, you need to first change how you think about the standard methods of continuous cardio training. No matter where you start with intervals you must understand that high-intensity training by design is a physical exercise that can lead to muscle soreness you’d associate only with weightlifting, and can cause your legs to feel like noodles.
Melt away Calories Even after You Finish
What most men and women don’t know is that intervals are the best cardio technique for excess fat reduction. Most women in the gym are hung up on doing excessive amounts of extend cardio, but shorter, additional intense intervals get the job done far better and will aid in burning calories throughout the day. Longer sessions of cardiovascular only permit for you to melt away calories while you’re exercising. HIIT will continue to melt away calories and extra fat long after the training session, and that’s one thing you won’t get from slower, longer sessions of cardio. When high intensity interval instruction is compared to prolonged, slow cardiovascular exercises, it was interval training that was shown to be much more effective for fat loss.
Ladies can use this workout 2-3 times per week to help lower excessive entire body excess fat if they are also flowing a healthy diet. This is something I would suggest if you’ve in no way tried HIIT prior to on a treadmill:
- Warm-up for 10 minutes making use of a speed that permits for any brisk walk.
- Operate for 30 seconds at a 7 out of 10 degree for intensity.
- Follow that with “active rest” for 90 seconds at a 2 to 3 out of 10 level of intensity.
- Repeat this for about 3 to 6 times.
All small and big businesses today have or aspire to have an impressive online presence. If a good, well designed, well maintained website adds to the brand value of the company, a poorly maintained website with poor web design erodes that brand equity easily too. So if you are really looking to put up your website, if you are designing the website yourself or if you have hired a web designer there are some important things about web design that you need to keep in mind.
The look and the feel of the website is important. If you hire a web design company or a web designer, there are a few things you should keep in mind. You need visitors to visit your site repeatedly so you need to make the site visiting experience a good one. Navigation should be easy; your visitors should be able to find what they are looking for easily. The web design should not be too complex or cluttered. Remember, a good web design doesn’t overwhelm the visitors. If your website takes more than ten seconds to load, you need to get rid of some pictures, graphics unless it is absolutely essential to keep it all. Visitors should be able to reach their targets on your website with one or two clicks, if it takes more than four clicks you can be sure they will hate the experience. Select a good color scheme and make sure that you stick to it. All the pages should have a similar look and feel. Minimize the use of Java script and avoid Flash as much as you can.
You can choose ready-made templates or you can design one. A good web design includes good content with right keywords. Avoid marketing lingo and focus on customer-friendly language. Choose good background with high contrast and smart fonts. Avoid using different fonts on the same page. Open links to other websites in new window, so that the visitors can return to your web page without much fuss. Avoid pop-up boxes, numeric page counters and auto play music. If your website has more than ten pages it would be better to put a search box in the home page so that the visitors can search for what they want without wasting too much time. A good web design ensures more traffic and more visitors. Create a resource page where you can out links of all the websites that agree on a reciprocal arrangement to put your link on their website too. Search engines rank the sites with multiple links higher and thus it will ensure a higher ranking on the search engine results. Don’t forget to include a feedback form that would help the visitors to connect.
Lay outing is important in a good web design. Don’t freeze the layout. Let it be liquid so that the users can adjust it according to the size of their monitors. This is a very important tip; use different colors to differentiate between visited and non-visited links. This way the visitor is not confused and knows exactly where he has been and decides where he intends to go. Design the home page a bit differently than other pages. A good web design hence must incorporate the tips discussed. So go for the best web designing companies that can give you the best deals.
